Yorkshire and Cheshire Balloon fiesta event photography

I’ve been working with Yorkshire Balloon Fiesta for years, photographing their event and building a strong relationship with the organisers.

The event has grown over the years and has always been positively challenging. In 2023 I shot Yorkshire Balloon Fiesta and Cheshire Balloon Fiesta, with no events taking place in 2024.

During the multiday events, I captured shots of every act on the main stage, families enjoying themselves in the Raver Tots tent, stunt shows, birds of prey displays and hot air balloon displays.

Covering such a large area offered its challenges, but working closely with their social media manager and PR agency, as well as my own experience, I was able to understand what shots were needed and make sure I could be in the right place at the right time.
